Requiem blah blah blaaaaaaah...
Choir concert went fairly well today, considering we really weren't ready to perform this major work. But I've grown to love John Rutter's Requiem. It is a beautiful piece, really. I especially love the second movement, "Out of the Deep," and the last one, "Lux Aeterna." The first time I listened to a professional recording of "Lux," I got really misty, and another friend of mine cried outright. It's a gorgeous piece. It's just...long. Forty minutes long.
Then I went to dinner with my parents. I get to go home Thursday afternoon for Thanksgiving. Wheeeee!! Sad part is that I'll probably spend a good chunk of my weekend doing homework. Blah! But if all goes well, I'll make time to go see Rent (the movie!!!) with my sister, and meet with![[profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
msbbt and Rachie-chan to do lunch. And sleep in a bit, I'm all about sleeping in.
