2005 Fic Meme

axtar, just because I'm a nerd and I can. Let's look back over the fanfics of 2005. Let the fun begin...
Stories I wrote this year despite having other things I ought to have been doing:
Probably ninety-five percent of them. Honestly, the last three chapters or so of Tears of the Sea were written during Music History and Lit so that I would not fall asleep and make Professor Monotone all grouchy.
Fics planned for the end of the year:
Ummmm...there's, what, four days left in the year? Well, I did a big-ass post on Christmas Eve (ten of them, totally over thirty thousand words!!!), so for New Year's, I've got two more fics for30_kisses done, so probably one of them, maybe a Short Stack, and possibly another one-shot that attacked me this morning. Maybe.
Not typed out fic:
Ehehehehe...ummm...yeeeeeeah...got tons of ideas, and limited typing speed. Plus the dozen or so half-finished ones. Those irk me, especially when I get stuck.
My favorite story this year:
By another author? Ummm...wow, way too many to count. I read a LOT of stories.
My best story this year:
I was really proud of Holding His Gaze. It took me four months to write it, my first real Heiji/Kazuha story. Also finished Tears of the Sea, my epic, which is a source of pride. Otherwise...I don't know, I'm rather fond of my challenge fics, both my 30K series (Hayate/Himeno and Shinichi/Ran) and my Christmas ones.
Story most underappreciated by the universe, in my opinion:
Ummmm...I don't know, I'm just grateful for any and all feedback that I get.
Most fun story:
I try to have fun with all of them. 30K is turning into a really fun time, though. Writing What If...? had me laughing straight through, too.
Most sexy story:
Heat of the Moment, without a doubt or second thought. Heiji and Kazuha stuck in a boiler room. Clothes start coming off. Shirtless Heiji. Make-out-tastic!! *purrs happily*
Story with single sexiest moment:
Again, gotta be Heat of the Moment. I'll let everyone else decide exactly what happened between the end of the descriptions, and the point where they realize they have cell phones. Knowing this fandom, they were in there for several hours. But basically,fireblazie demanded snogging, and lo, there was snogging.
Hardest story to write:
*thinks* The New World is one that I have to be in a very specific mood to write, but that mood doesn't like to hit me very often, really. Otherwise, would you believe that I had some serious trouble with Holding His Gaze? Just this one section, which I ended up changing, and then it was done in twenty minutes.
And now What You Wish For is fighting me with hand grenades and bazookas. ARGH!! I like that one, too!!! I will make it bow to my will!!!
And there you have it. Now back to the outline for Dawn and Twilight. It's really flying right now, and I want to finish it before I lose the spark!!
