I think people should be able to use whatever slang they see fit. I'm occasionally finding words like "keen" slipping into my conversation, which is a slang term from the freakin' thirties. I also use far too much internet lingo in my daily speech--particularly "bee-tee-dub" for BTW, and I say "burb" for brb so I'm saying it like it sounds. So you talk however you like. Who knows--it might catch on!
