Ow, I feel your pain. I hope you're not allergic to bees. When I was a kid I didn't hate insect-y things, but I was absolutely terrified of bees and wasps and getting stung (I'm not allergic, but I was afraid of pain).

Hopefully a ginormous cockroach would not be hanging from the ceiling, hee hee. But there are palmetto bugs (translated as very large roaches) that fly. You may not ever want to move to Florida.
