1. Comment in this post with a pairing, a character, or a threesome.
2. I shall write you back a paragraph explaining what I think about it (good, bad, indifferent) and why.
3. Let's discuss / argue / CAPSLOCK at each other about it! I only ask that you don't get insulted, angry, mean, or stupid.
I think you probably know most of my fandoms. If you're not sure, feel free to ask!
LET THE DISCUSSION BEGIN!! :D :D :D

*sits back and watches the freak-outs*
Okay, just kidding :3 I love their relationship because it's so different from the others. Shinichi and Ran are star-crossed. Kaito and Aoko have that wall between them. Heiji and Kazuha call each other by a pet-name of "ahou" and bicker about EVERYTHING. In all honest, I think they have perhaps the healthiest relationship in the Conan-verse.
Sadly, although I do love them as a pairing (despite various people's attempts to convince me that they probably won't end up together *puts fingers in ears and starts singing loudly*), I think they're the pairing I am the weakest at writing. So...not sure how much more of them I will write once I finish up my challenge for

Ahem...I'll pick a pairing now...and no it's not who you think I'd pick.
Satou /Takagi...have at it!

*luffs* I actually figured it would either be them or Shin/Ran, as you are the poster-child of the Shinichi/Ran fangirl. Speaking of which, I finished the next fic for
Satou and Takagi...first of all, you've got Satou. A strong, smart, tough female character who can kick ass all over the place. I heartily approve of kick-ass female characters. Then we've got Takagi. A shy, adorable, sweet guy who is absolutely incapable of being at his best in front of Satou. Really, their relationship is sort of unique in the Conan-verse because there's actually a certain degree of HONESTY regarding how they feel about each other.
While I'm thinking about it, Shiratori needs to get smacked with a brick. That is all. Back to your regularly scheduled program.Plus...something we've discussed before is how different a character Takagi really is. All the other guys in this series (who have lady-loves) are brilliant and confident in every other respect...but they can't talk about feelings to save their souls. Takagi, on the other hand, is so shy that he bumbles around an awful lot...but he's said some absolutely lovely things to her. I hope we get more storylines with these two, because they are adorable.
And I hope Shiratori gets run over by a stampeding rhino.no subject
The case with the magicians come to mind. Him with his "Why can't I concentrate when she's holding onto that guy?" and his "You're my little follower!" made me want to punch him so hard. It wasn't too long ago when they were hanging over the cliff during the mermaid case, right? I mean, I know he's probably shy about his feelings and he probably didn't want to admit to it to her (the case when he and Kazuha were both tied up), but during the magician case, Heiji seemed genuinely clueless. I have to keep reminding myself that he's only 17 and he's a dense teenager who may be deeply confused with his feelings.
I think they're the pairing I am the weakest at writing.
BLASPHEMY!! That's me, not you! *gets bonked*

But that magician case...it surprised me. Up until that point, I think most of us had figured that Heiji totally had the hots for Kazuha, but was just too shy to admit it. Turns out that isn't the case at all, and the magician murder proved it. He isn't shy--he's completely in the dark. He is TOTALLY self-unaware as to how he feels about her or even to the fact that he was jealous.
'Tis a pity...but then again, I think a lot of guys suffer from that tragic medical condition called "being dense as a rock." Then again, you've got guys like Shinichi--he has a clue. He just doesn't know what to do with it. But I'm holding out hope that we will have a Heiji/Kazuha confession
and ending make-out scenesometime in the near future!BLASPHEMY!! That's me, not you! *gets bonked*

besides Aoyama's childhood friends pattern that seem to never fail.I suppose Heiji only gets a slight clue to his feelings when emotions are high (the whole "I'm hanging over a cliff on the verge of death, but no matter what I'll protect you" and "I'm about to get my brains blown out and I gotta say my last words" scenarios) but he seems to immediately shut them up when the situations are over. Must we dangle Kazuha over a building or hold her at gunpoint in order to get Heiji to admit his feelings? Don't make me do it! I already made her suffer through enough! As for Shinichi's case, are you sure he doesn't know what to do with it? The Desperate Revival comes to mind. He brought Ran to that restaurant for a reason, whether it was to ask to be his girlfriend or be his wife, we'll never truly know... although I expect more of the former. He was there to move past friendship wasn't he? Or are you referring to his "I'm as tall as Ran-nee-chan's patellas!" form that he has been living in for... almost a year?
And I second the Heiji/Kaz confession
and ending make-out sceneas well!...HOW DO YOU FIGURE? *bonks you a second time*
BECAUSE I CAN'T WRITE HEIJI IN CHARACTER! *flails* It's frickin' hard to!
And I have no confidence!no subject
and snog for our viewing pleasures *eats popcorn and dodges flying bricks*That's an interesting way of looking at it...things only come out when the stakes are high. I'd like to think that at some point he'd clue in and realize "Huh...I feel this way every time she's in danger. I should examine it more closely." And then he'd figure it out and there'd be a confession and a make-out scene and they'd get married and have a hundred children who are all Superman. But that's just wishful thinking on my part, I'm sure ^_^
I'm really not so sure about him. Sometimes he seems to have it down pat. Other times, it seems that he joins the League of Denseness. Every chance he gets to tell her anything, he screws up (which with the Desperate Revival was probably a good thing, because if he had told her something and then vanished like that, she probably would have been even more hurt).
...dude. I can't write Heiji in character either. Doesn't stop me from trying (and failing miserably). I'm seriously thinking about not writing him much anymore...but then people yell at me when I say that o.O
