The coming week @_@

Tomorrow I leave for the ICDA conference. That's Iowa Choral Director's Association. It's in a town four hours away (whoooo...), so I'm on the road at probably nine AM tomorrow to get there by the meeting at two.

I get to go for free as a student on scholarship. Basically, I get to go to the conference, stay in the dorms, get meals (that on occasion are even edible x_x), and all this fun stuff--a $350 value absolutely free (I sound like a commercial!). The only thing I have to do is help with sessions: pass out music, work the stereos, etc.

So I'm gonna be away from the ol' compy for several days--probably until Thursday, when I'll get back to campus and hopefully have some good ol' wireless internet again.

After the conference, I go straight from ICDA to show choir camp. YAY FOR WIRELESS INTERNET!! *bounces* The crazy thing is that the scholarship kids are supposed to be at ICDA until Friday morning...but I'm a choreographer for camp, not just a regular counselor, and so I need to be there before the kids get there on Friday.

Translation: gonna be doing some serious negotiations here. I have an email from my choir director saying that she wants me there on Thursday night, so hopefully we'll get this worked out so I can be where I need to be ^__^

But yeah, I'll be out for a few days =D If I don't catch y'all later tonight, I'll see ya on Thursday-ish! Much love, folks!

A week at conference and show choir camp, two days at home, four days at All-State camp, two weeks at home, move into the dorms and back to RA training x_x

...where did the summer go?
