I love my parents ♥
There is snow falling outside. Not a great deal of it at the moment, but...we'll see what happens ^^;; They've predicted that we could get up to fourteen inches of the stuff between today and tomorrow.
Mom called to ask me about the last few days and the weather, and she started teasing me, which led to the following exchange...
Mom: You're still going to be in school on the Fourth of July at this rate.
Me: Well...we had the two days off for the ice storm--had no power. Then we had Monday off, we had an early out today, and if we get half of what they say we're supposed to get, we won't have school tomorrow either.
Mom: *laughs* In other words, you ARE still going to be in school on the Fourth of July.
Me: ...and I still have better vacation time than you!
...I love my mommy :D She has told me repeatedly that no matter how stressful my job might be, I should always remember that teachers have the best vacation time of almost any profession. Well...maybe aside from multi-millionaire. But I'm not holding my breath for that.

31_days today...and tomorrow is a certain someone's birthday, so I need to have a fic for her. Which is...not in any state of finished-ness *flails around a little* Got a lot of work to do on that.
