How convenient!

Today is a day off, hooray! I have a multitude of things that I would rather enjoy doing, but I don't know how many of them will end up getting done. Mostly because I am a horrendously lazy person and will most likely spend my day faffing about.

In related news, "faffing about" is a delightful phrase.

We gave Dad Mario Kart for the Wii as a Father's Day gift. Now comes the real fun: getting him to make the trek down the stairs to the family room to play it. I suspect that this endeavor may eventually involve a leash. We also went out for a Father's Day breakfast before my sister and I had to go to work.

Work yesterday raced along with all the hurry and fuss of a dozing snail. I mean, Sundays are usually slow (there aren't many offices open to write prescriptions), but yesterday was to the extreme. We cleaned the floors. I scrubbed some shelves. I helped the pharmacist do inventory by standing in the shelves and counting boxes on the diabetic supplies and the pseudophedrine products. We all did our grocery shopping--I sort of wish I was joking on that.

We were wondering if we'd break a hundred scrips. With fifteen minutes left, we were at ninety-six. Then we had our last-minute rush...which consisted of four cars in the drive-through and a couple of people at the front. Grand total for the day? Ninety-nine. Lovely.

Our kitchen sink has decided that now is a gorgeous time to back up. The plumber guy should be here to rooter it out somewhere around the eleven-thirty to noon-ish time. I really hope he doesn't need to get into the trap in the very back corner of my room, behind my DVD rack and shelves. Reeeeeeally hope.

Rach has plunnied me. STOP STEALING KAT'S JOB.

*pulls up word processor*

I told your dad to tell you I said hi :3c

Your icon hurts my brain XDD

...l-let's not get hasty. Even though supplying me with plunnies is usually your job ^___^

All he said to me was "Guess who waited on me?" And I was like "Well, let's see, we know one person that works back there..."

...Oh-oh my god, I never told that story, did I? *must run to post to explain icon o_O*

B-but the baseball bat has been lonely! And yes it is my job. I need all the work I can get, dammit XD. And I should post chapter 4/work on my fic. WOE!

*laugh* IT WAS MEEEEEEEE! :D

That story is hilarious. Foreign television is amazing.

Maybe the bat should make friend with a ball? Anyway, a plunnie is a plunnie, and plunnie is as plunnie does, and I really need to write/finish/post something or I might go crazy soon. YOU SHOULD! DUU EET!

NO WAI!

I know, right? XDD I keep laughing when I pass the display they had in the store cause that's all I hear now.

I don't know any balls 8| But yes, plunnies are good when you know what to do with them. I still don't know if I should keep the last line, though ;o; But once I make myself write chapter 8, it should happen. ...And that one-shot I have no ideas for on the important part, crap.

I think you'd have to hold a gun to my dad's head to make him play a video game.
