Day one!
Student teaching, day one: Complete.
Activities: Choir rehearsal at the high school, awing fourth graders with my ability to sing all the scat-syllables on "We Go Together" (from Grease) perfectly, showing third graders how to whistle, etc.
Favorite moment: I was standing behind a couple of kids, singing along with the CD, and a boy turned around and asked me if I'd ever thought about auditioning for American Idol. Also, a girl told me she thought I was pretty ♥
Learned today: Elementary school tykes get very squirrely when they're kept inside from recess due to the cold. THEY CAN'T SIT STILL. And it's not very reassuring when you're being introduced to a high school choir, and one guy says, "So...she's the so-called teacher." Yeeeeeeeah...
Also, I shouldn't sleep on my hair when it's wet. Or else I will wake up looking like a French poodle on a really bad hair day. Seriously, it took longer to tame that than it really should have >.>;;
Opinion: I had a GREAT time :D
Status: If you need me, poke the dead body on the floor pleez. Soooooo tired...

But really, even adults get antsy if kept inside when they know they should be able to go outside. *snerks*
Still, sounds like you had fun~♥

With as cold as it's been lately, I'm perfectly content to sit inside and watch a movie and knit until my fingers turn blue. But that's just the way I am, I s'pose ^__^
I had a great time. And I get to go back tomorrow, and the next day, and the day after that...and then it's the weekend, so I get two days off. SLEEPING IN FOR THE WIN!! :D

Ah... you have a point there. I wouldn't be outside myself, either... although the cold weather we're having right now is making me crave ice cream... hm... *ponders if she should waste $3 on ice cream...*
Not too different from college, then? XD;

... *glaaaaare*
I've always been more of an indoors girl than anything. Although sometimes during the summer, when it's not too hot, I like to go sit on the back porch and read. It's very relaxing and comfy :D But more often than not, I curl up in the basement or in my bed and read/type/knit ^__^

I remember recess...and not just the T.V. show either...xD...but rain or shine....my class was kept inside since kids were bad....but I was good! *

*giggle* I never watched that show...but I don't have any recess duties. Just four classes of kids every day from one to three-fifteen. And that's fine by me :D
You were good. Riiiiiiiiight. I totally believe you.

The first day working a "real" job is exhausting - it's the nervousness and excitement that does it. And the early morning rising *ouch*.
Glad your first day went well though.

I am not a morning person. I like my sleep. This going to bed early thing? So crazy...so totally crazy...and who knew that there actually existed such a time as six AM?? SLANDER AND LIES!!
Thanks! *glomples*

...Hi XD.
Hee hee, sounds like fun! ...Seriously. A lot of those things you were saying cracked me up XD. I heart little kids! When they're behaving -_-.

The kids are energetic, squirrely, talkative dears :D I'm really enjoying myself.
Can't wait until Friday!!

You know what I'm wondering? What's going to happen when all these kids find out you're into some of the same shows that they are XD. I had some interesting experiences volunteering at Nature Center camps when I chimed in on cartoon show conversations. It'll be even more interesting if you run into some anime fans in the secondary level ^^.
Oh, and I posted some comics I drew badly. Looking for replies on those

...one of these days, I'll just mention Avatar or Animaniacs and see how many times I get glomped or gawked at =P
*completely misses the hint*I replieded to them! I must've got offline just before you posted those ^_^no subject
"So, she's the so-called teacher..." Darn kids, they're so smart-alecky! *laugh*

Yeah...but I did actually talk to the guy later. He's not so bad. I think he was trying to unnerve me a bit >.>
