Poll! And new ficcage! YAY!

I'm going to reply to comments soon, guys. I promise. But since I got home I've been battling a heat-induced headache that actually had me flat on my back for about half an hour. Most assuredly not cool--sort of been alternatingly here and wandering away from my computer.

Anyway, it's been a while since I spammed you guys with a random, pointless poll. The deal this time? I somehow got it into my head that I want to try writing a reeeeeeeeeally hot though probably totally unrealistic make-out scene! The thing is that the plunnies will not tell me who it is that's doing the making out. So...I leave it to any of you who care!

...wow. See, I would have gone almost entirely the opposite there and said Kaito and Aoko would top my list, just because of the adventurous factor.

But now I'm sort of thinking Shinichi and Ran...though I think I might go *squick* if it was set during the series >_>;; ...unless it's post-series and he's out of town for some reason? (And I am a horrible person, but I just had this vision of him going to visit his parents for a few days, and one of them somehow overhearing part of this phone call...I am a horrible, horrible person...)

Considering part of my objective at the time involved attempting to make you write Makoto/Sonoko, I'm not surprised it topped my list XD

Having slept, my mind is now clearer, and while I can see Kaito making the call, I can only see Aoko figuring out what it is half-way through the damn thing and then attempting to verbally take a mop to his head. (Kaito's only response would be to snicker.) ...Also, it appears that I am now having difficulty picturing the Magic Kaito people in anything other than a foursome for some reason o_O

Yeah, I. I really don't know how I would feel about that being set in the series. If it was really, really ambiguous and we didn't actually get the idea that Conan was, uh, physically getting off on the phone convo, I could see it squicking less. But. That's still... kinda awkward. Also, Ran would so bully him into it, but it would be in the weepy "I-never-see-you-and-I-just-want-to-be-closer-to-you" sort of way that involves minor guilt on Shin'ichi's part and stuff.

(Also, yes, you are a horrible, horrible person. Shin'ichi would be scarred for life. More than that one time he walked in on his parents having sex, even 8DDD No, bad plunnies, sit! Stay! Don't eat!

...I still can't think of a good solid Sonoko/Matoko plunnie, especially regarding his character T_T Woez...

Kaito would make the call for sure...Aoko's reaction, I think, could go either way. She could verbally smack him with a mop--OR she could actually participate for the shock factor--i.e. to shock the hell out of Kaito... *ponders*

...seeing as how I am (as yet) incapable of writing anything that involves more than two people in any romantic context (...not that I haven't tried or anything), I will PAY YOU to write that foursome =D

I think the Shinichi/Ran idea might be better-suited to a post-series thing, just avoid as much potential squick as possible. Although I do agree--it would be sort of amusing to see Ran bully him into that kind of conversation. "But Shinichi...I'm so lonely..." *snerk*

(I know I am a horrible person. But really, how is it that Shinichi ISN'T scarred for life already with everything that's happened to him? And dear lord when did that happen? Or are you going to write that? *happyface* *encourages the plunnies*

I would be willing to settle for Sonoko-centric where she spends most of the fic missing Makoto (or pretending not to miss him, either way), and then gets a letter or a package from him or something.

I see where you're coming from, but that would have to be a damn special mood for her to pull that off. I could see her turning Kaito down and then later feeling guilty about it and propositioning him herself, though.

See, here's the problem. Now I have a plunny for the nearly-during-canon version. And it has a beginning, and an ending, and now all it needs is the filling in the middle. And then I get to write about Conan glaring at his (very flat, still comfortable) pants and muttering about how much he misses puberty some days.

(Well, he's scarred as far as life experiences go, I guess? And in regards to how he veiws society and stuff. But he's not yet messed up really good in regards to his parents and their love life. I don't know if he's even put two and two together that they have a love life yet, genius detective or not. I mean, how many of us are comfortable with the idea of our parents having sex by the time we turn seventeen? It didn't, to the best of my knowledge, but I'm sorely tempted to write it now. *glaaaaares at them*

Hmm...*is wondering about the Kaito/Aoko thing now* Either way, it would be hot. Hell, it would be hot with ANYONE! But for some reason, Shinichi and Ran seem to fit the idea the most in my mind =D So long as it's post-series...for my own sake >_>;;

...well, go ahead and write it...but POST IT UNDER F-LOCK AND KEY, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!! And the idea of Conan having that problem is hilarious to me...which probably makes me sick and wrong in the head.

(I think he's got a few brain-cells that haven't been scarred yet. As to his parents...he might not be able to get past his "annoyance" with them, as well as the fact that if his father is anywhere near him he can't solve a case to save his soul...but it would be sort of amusing, all things considered. I guess I was sort of past the fact that Mommys and Daddys have sex by the time I graduated from high school. Now I just tease them about it ^^b Wriiiiiiiiite eeeeeeet!!)

Not that I'll stop you if you feel like writing it yourself, of course ;) But yeah, she's probably have to be frustrated with the number of surprises Kaito had pulled on her - or be more relaxed in general - before responding immediately, IMHO.

Maybe I should make a challenge of it. And Shin'ichi and Ran always so separated and spend so much time apart and so much of their relationship on the phone, it's practically a threesome with a piece of technology. KEEP THE CELL PHONE ON VIBRATE 8DDD

Compromise: I'll add the Conan scene as an "extra" bit, keep it to my journal, and white it out with warnings; the Ran part should be able to stand on its own anyway, and I'll keep the timeline ambiguous as I can. Which problem, the having a pants problem, or the not having a pants problem problem? In the case of the latter, he is pretty much of-age mentally, regardless of physical appearance, and he's gone through puberty already, so he should know the basics. In the case of the former, uh. W-well. Six-year-olds have been known to have erections. Which is creepy to think about in all sorts of ways, actually, so I'll stop now.

(Probably, yeah. Actually, by this point in time, he could be completely sheltered from it and just Not Want to Think About It, or I could also picture him being over-exposed to it almost. "Shin-chan honey, your dad and I are going off to Hawai'i for a couple weeks for a fifteenth 'nother honeymoon, watch the house while we're gone! ♥♥♥" "Sure Mom, and be sure to use protection if you don't want another kid."

...Now, see. Here's where I admit that my parents' bedroom is right above mine. And I ended up hearing some rhythmic squeaking a few weeks ago while I was trying to get to sleep. And yet I can still think about writing lemons. ...This says something about me, but I'm not entirely sure what. Yeah, yeah, I'll get it done...)
