candylandWell, I finally brought a couple of my friends over to the Dark Side. Some of my friends here on campus finally got LiveJournals, wheeeeeee!!!
I are proud of Sage and Vixie. They've come to the Underworld. Welcome them. Praise them, I say!
In other news, I'm a little peeved with one of the members of my song-writing group in the class I'm taking right now. Her MSN name declared that 'our group sucks, but at least we have [name] now...' [Name] is a guy they brought in to play guitar for us.
Now, I do agree that our group is having some problems--namely, I'm the only one who's been there every single fuggin' day of class. Vixie (also in our group) missed one day, and I personally can vouch that she was violently ill (i.e. I picked her up off the floor). The other three girls have missed class left and right, and there's only so much you can do when there's only two of you there. It's like they're not even trying, and then blaming us for the fact that we're behind.
In truth, one of them got a dismissal letter from the University (translation: she's getting kicked out), and she's best friends with another one of the girls. It wouldn't surprise us if they just decided they don't care because of it. The third girl isn't going to be there for the performance, so it's quite possible that she doesn't care either. So it's all on Vixie and me. Our whole group's basically been riding on us, because we're the music majors in the group. So it's gonna end up with the two of us sitting down and finishing the song. We're not letting our grades get screwed 'cause they're not pulling their weight.
In still other news, in two weeks, on January 26th, my sister and I will be engaging in our dream evening--Les Miserables is coming to our town, and we're going to go see it. She got two tickets for Christmas, and I get to go with her. We're stoked! It's gonna be a great show. But now it's lunchtime, so I'm gonna take off. Later, all!
