Ponderings on a snowfall

I came out of Music Theory today, and it was snowing. Big, fat, white flakes that turn your hair white almost within seconds of being outside in it. There was almost no wind, so they were just falling calmly; we got out of class a little early and there was no one around, so it was very silent. I walked alone across the Forum lawn in this quiet snowfall, thinking about things.

It was calm, and so peaceful. So very, very peaceful...
