Yesterday,jewelsybear1017 and I hung out in the Cent Room from about 1:30 until, oh, six or six-thirty-ish? Then we went for a walk ('cause it was starting to rain), and hit the grocery store. I made fried spaghetti for us. Somebody's little brother and sister kept wandering in and out of the kitchen, so we fed them too--and then they brought their parents down to check out my little concoction. I daresay we might make it again sometime ♥
And today, Mommy came to visit! She took Little Sister and I out to lunch. Tried the pork tenderloin at this one place--diameter-wise, I think it was actually bigger than my head. And I have a larger-than-average head ^^;; In short, I have leftovers. Dinner tonight shall be pork tenderloin sandwiches and fried spaghetti. I shall eat well!
And then she took us shopping. AND I GOT A NEW OUTFIT!! ONE THAT FITS!! AND LOOKS GOOD!! *ahem* For those who don't know me personally, I'm not exactly the easiest person to fit. And skirts tend to, um, not fit me right. Ever. But I found a skirt that I like! The length is good and it fits right and it looks good and it makes me so happy! And then we found a black shell top and a cute red cardigan and it looks great!
Plus, I'm one of those people who instantly starts mentally scanning through my wardrobe and figuring out six other things that a new acquisition could be worn with (I don't have a ton of clothes, so I like to be able to mix-n-match). And this fits the bill beautifully!! *loves on new skirt* I'm not really a fan of dresses, so if I'm comfortable enough to wear it, we have a winner.
Little Sister got a new dress, too. It's kinda retro--the cut of it, and the polka-dot belt slung around it. She said she felt like she was sixty years old, while Mom and I insisted that she looked like a million bucks, and no sixty-year-old would get away with that dress. And she really did look awesome. Finally, we talked her into it--I doubt she'll be disappointed.
Oh yeah,msbbt? I GOT SEASON TWO OF TEEN TITANS!! Also, they had a spot for the fifth volume of Avatar: The Last Airbender...but there was no DVD in it ;-; So I'll just go back next week...or I wonder if the video game place in town would have DVDs like that...might have to go check before I get chained to the building. I'm covering duty tonight for another RA. It's Family Weekend, and she's involved in the Casino Night they're doing tonight. So yeah, lucky me ^^;;
...I think I'm gonna run to the game place and check it out uber-quick. Catch y'all later!
