It occurred to me that I haven't updated this for a bit. And I've had a long day. So I'm going to rant for a little bit.

Well, my day starts pretty much with my 9 AM class. Now, 9 AM is never a good time for an insomniac, considering I have enough trouble getting out of bed as it is, but that's neither here nor there. Class was kind of boring today. Went to breakfast with a couple of friends after class, then came back to my room.

I had both voice practice and piano lessons today. Not much else to say there. They went pretty well. I'm getting my German vocal solo down a lot better, which is strange because I haven't really practiced as much as I should *sheepish*

Then, at about two, I grabbed a five minute lunch consisting of two cheese quesadillas and a bowl of vanilla ice cream with crushed Oreos in it, and then I had work-study, in which I sat and checked Theory papers for forty-five minutes. Always a joy. Then choir. My vocal music professor asked me to think about being an Academic Assistant (AA) next year. I'm considering it.

Went back to my room, changed clothes, and went to my night class, which was boring beyond belief tonight. I mean, I think everyone's attention was elsewhere after about fifteen minutes. Left class ten minutes early to go to an ACES event that started at 7:30.

ACES stands for Academic and Cultural Events Series. Basically, they bring in different speakers, groups, etc. to talk to us and/or perform for us. This year, we've had the National Theatre of the Deaf, Chanticleer (*choir nerd inside Candy-chan shrieks with delight*), Peter Schekele, and tonight's treat, the Aquila Theatre Company. They performed Shakespeare's "Othello." It was phenomenal! I could actually understand most of ye olde English, too! It was just a very well-done play. I enjoyed it immensely.

Well, the play finished at about ten o'clock. Now, realize that I had lunch at two. So I haven't eaten for eight hours at this point. I'm starting to feel a little sick. Well, I figure I'll run out and grab something to eat so I'll hopefully feel better. I get out to my car, and find that I kind of left my headlights on, so my battery's dead. Great. So I come all the way back up to my room, call security, and head all the way back down. And of course I'm parked in the farthest reachest of the lot, naturally ^_^;;

Luckily, security comes around, gives me a jump start, and I'm off. I got a nice sandwich from Subway, which I'm eating right now. It's currently 11:30, I feel like sh*t, and I have to be up early tomorrow morning. I just haven't been feeling well lately. I don't know...maybe I'm coming down with something.

*sigh* Well, thanks for letting me bitch for an entire journal entry. I needed that. I promise that next time I post an entry in here, it'll be something more positive. Scout's honor.

Ja,
Candy-chan ^_^
