This is Candyland. This is Candyland at 3:30 in the morning, house-sitting during a thunderstorm. Any questions? I haven't slept, and I'm alone in the house with a couple of dogs. Great.

I usually like storms...just not right now. Ugh...

I'm...tired...and complaining like hell...but meh, everybody's got the right to complain, right? Plus, my friend Kyte-chan told me I need to complain MORE in this thing. *blinks* Ya know, nobody's ever told me that before. *shrug* Oh well.

You want to know how bored and out of it I am? I'm going to go watch a 'Bill Nye the Science Guy' tape. Some of you might remember him. He did a science program for kids, way back in the day. I used to love his stuff. See how much of the stuff I remember.

Oh yeah, and I posted two new fics on ff.net today. Brings my total to eighty-eight stories. Inching ever closer to my eventual goal of one hundred fics. *crosses fingers*

Sitting

Well, as some of you saw in my last entry, I'm housesitting for my aunt, taking care of the dogs, etc. Well, now I have two other adorable little beings to sit for--Noah and Lacey, my younger cousins, ages three and eight months, respectively.

Right now, Lacey's enjoying a bottle on the floor next to me. She's gurgling, which means she'll probably want my attention soon. And Noah's cheerfully watching cartoons. Nothing too hard. I should probably feed the fish soon...

Anyway, I did get a little sleep last night--finally dozed off at about five AM. Woke up at about seven to let the dogs out, and then went back to bed, where I woke up on and off until about eleven-thirty. I felt a lot better. It is the worst combination in the world, being an insomniac and a night owl. I've gotten used to living off less sleep then most people.

Anyway, I'm in a good mood because I posted two new fics yesterday, and I've gotten a lot of really good reviews for them. Yay rah! And I only have twelve more stories to write before I reach my goal of one hundred fics on ff.net. It just makes my day, ya know?

Well, Lacey's hitting my foot and jabbering at me. Laters!

Sitting
