So, I rushed out and bought Charlie and the Chocolate Factory yesterday, only to find out today that there's a two-disc edition. *growl* So now I must go get THAT one so I can have all my lovely special features that I love so very, very much. Oh well, I've got coupons. It shall be cheap (I hope).

In other news, I absolutely LOVE how I spent seven and a half hours studying for my Music History and Lit test...and got a seventy-four. A SEVENTY-FOUR!! Yeah, that really made my day, put me in a good mood for the rest of my Tuesday. *sigh*

I saw this thing on somebody else's LJ, and thought I'd give it a shot:

1. Go into your LJ's archives.
2. Find your 23rd post (or closest to).
3. Find the fifth sentence (or closest to).
4. Post the text of the sentence in your LJ along with these instructions.

Entry date: August 7, 2004
Fifth sentence: The latest aggression of ff.net against its many loyal users is the banning of script-format stories, which has apparently been a "long-standing rule" that nobody knew about.

...I was on a major rant that particular entry *laugh* Got another fun (read: extremely weird) little LJ thing that I found, but I'll save that for another post. Maybe tomorrow.

I'm going home this weekend to see my sister in the high school music, Guys and Dolls. She's a Havana dancer, and she described the costumes as making her look like she's going to march in a gay rights' parade, because they're all rainbow-y. She's not anti-GLBT or anything--in fact, she's very supportive of the alliance. Therefore, I found it funny that she would say something like that...

But anyway, back to the movie and my random ficcage. I'm determined to finish "Tears of the Sea" before New Year's. That story actually celebrated its eighteen-month birthday last week. It was the first story on which I ever broke the one-hundred thousand word mark--it's my epic, and I consider it one of my great fics. A year and a half of work has gone into it, so I'm extremely proud of it. It has been a labor of love, and I think it's time to put that story to bed. Two more chapters to go--the first of which is somewhere between a third and halfway done. The last chapter should be pretty short.

And then I get to start on the sequel--I acquiese to the demands of my readers. Plus, I've got a lot of ideas that I didn't get to use in TotS, so I'll put them into another story. I also created a few OCs (original characters) that I'm quite fond of, and so I wish another opportunity to bring them back. So I finish TotS, take a little break from the MKR fandom (read: until the outline has come along sufficiently), and then crash the party once again. *laugh* I'm such a nerd.

But anyhoo, back to my movie and my friends. *toodles off into the sunset*
