Quick post!

Okay, just a quickie post before I gots to get ready for work.

I'm kind of excited about fic_off because I'm hoping it'll give me the boost I need to get some writing done this month. My goals are to finish The New World (CCS fic that I started, oh, four years ago?), and update both Song of the Wind (MKR) and What You Wish For (DC) with five thousand words each. Will I make it? ...I have no idea. I tend to set rather lofty goals for myself, and then wind up falling on my face somewhere along the line. Oh well--we'll give it a go. FOR GREAT JUSTICE!! *victory pose*

I GOT TO SEE RYANN AGAIN YAYS!! :D :D :D We watched Hot Shots, Alice in Wonderland, and The Great Mouse Detective...while I played my DS and he played his laptop ^^;; Yay for being social! And we also had hot cocoa with butterscotch-flavored Schnapps--I don't like butterscotch, but oh LORDY was that good...and then triple-chocolate cake. Life was pretty damn sweet.

And finally, Little Sister is back on campus. Translation? I PWNS THE INTERWEBS!! *bricked* ...I mean, I won't have to fight for the computer in the evenings anymore! *raises glass* Here's to late-night chat sessions and ignoring Dad when he tells me to go to bed, yesh! :D :D :D

I am looking for two songs, and I was wondering if anyone might have the tracks lying around that they'd be willing to share. If no one does, I'll buy the CDs...but anyway, the two songs.

1) "I Loved Her First" by Heartland
2) "Mountains" by Lonestar

So if anyone would maybe share, I would luff on you lots! If not...eh, it's not the end of my world :D THANK YOU, strawberrychan!!!

Also, to those who've been reading my series for 30_nights--I'm wanting to bring Aya-chan (Kaito and Aoko's four-year-old daughter) back for another fic, but I'm a bit stymied, so I'm reaching out to you with this uber-important question...

If Aya-chan were to meet Uncle Hakuba, what kind of prank could she pull on him? I mean, she's already going to kick his ass in poker, I'm sure, but...a good solid Kaito-ish prank. I welcome any and all suggestions. Winner gets...well, a fic about it. Most likely dedicated to them :D
