Watched two and a half Mel Brooks movies last night--I crashed in the middle of The Producers around "When You Got It, Flaunt It." And I slept like a baby, and lo, it was glorious. And now...I'm back in my comfy pink chair, needles in hand once again.

Also, I'm hungry. But first, as stolen borrowed from axtar...

I just heard some bad news.

This past summer I went to the wedding of two of my friends from college. Well...I just heard that the young woman in question was rushed to the hospital on Friday for an emergency C-section. She'd mentioned at the wedding that she was having a difficult pregnancy--she was losing weight (as opposed to gaining it), she was constantly dehydrated, and she was sick all the time.

Their daughter was born three months premature. She weighs only two pounds.

I know some of you on my f-list are a good deal more religious than I am. So I'm asking you to please keep this young family in your prayers. They're both good people, and they don't deserve to have this happen to them.
