candyland: (gay lawyers)
Yesterday was actually sort of awesome. I mean, aside from the whole working eight hours thing. And apparently, because I work more hours than anyone back there, it should be my complete and utter responsibility to make sure that everything in there is clean, including the floors. Even though I do usually sweep my work area after I'm done, and sweeping the entire department is part of the closing procedure. Yeah. Guess it's somehow on my head that it's not getting done to Chong's satisfaction. Go figure. And then some other stuff happened, so it's all good.

Anyway, so [livejournal.com profile] gyakuten_saiban is in a total uproar of happydancings because everyone's favorite lawyers are now going to be appearing live on the musical stage. Played by a Takarazuka troupe, i.e. all female performers famous for sequins and huge over-the-top shows. OUR FANDOM HAS CANON MALE LESBIANS! *KILLED* Also, here is Phoenix. Eyebrows need moar zig-zag? This shall be of the utmost epic :D

[livejournal.com profile] kaitodoushi and I are trying to guess what the title of Edgeworth's big number will be. Kat said "I'm Too Sexy." I say that's GIN'S theme song (blame you for that, [livejournal.com profile] girlquinn XD), and suggested something about his Flaming Coat of I-Will-Destroy-You from the third game. ILU, KAT! We have the best conversations :D

Oh, and surfthechannel is my god. As is whoever posted all those old forensics shows up there. I have been watching them almost non-stop for the last couple of days. MY WEAKNESS FOR SUCH THINGS, LET ME SHOW YOU IT. If science didn't make my head hurt to the extent that it does, I think I might have looked into forensic science as a career field.

And now, today's list of things to do:

~ Go downtown and take care of that paperwork at the sub office
~ Stay downtown and get registered to vote

~ Finish picking up my floor
~ Write an absurd amount
~ Watch the DVR recording of last night's episode of Fringe

...yeah, that should do it. There will hopefully be ficcage tonight because it seems that ninety percent of my word-count for [livejournal.com profile] autumnwrite consists of half-finished things or stuff where the inspiration DIED ON ME before I could get to the end. Rawrs~

All right, time to go fix my hair and make myself presentable~ *scurryscurry*

I am now registered to vote in my county, and I need to get a physical so I can get to work. I also can now actually walk across my bedroom floor from the door almost to the bookshelf without stepping on or over anything XD Now to take all those clothes I sort of piled on the end of the futon in the family room and put them away so the father-unit does not have to smite me.

And if all goes as we think it will, [livejournal.com profile] kaitodoushi shall be in possession of Spamalot tickets on Friday. Two free tickets, no less. GUESS WHO GETS TO BE HER DATE! :D But for serious, I loved the show the first time I saw it, and have no doubts that it will be equally awesome to see a second time, especially with my best friend. And no old guys in black pick-up trucks on their cell phones trying to run us off the highway, thanks.

...let's see if I can end every paragraph with a strike-through sentence! Or not XD

So...have most of you seen the newest anonymous meme going around on LJ? No, I don't have a thread on there. I usually try to avoid those memes. They just end up with wank and drama and people getting hurt. Anonymity seems to invite cruelty on those things.

(Reading between the lines: I am insanely curious, but while my skin is thick on certain things, poke me in the right place and I crumble. And I am just too much of a coward to risk it, no matter how curious I am. I also have this paranoia about upsetting people without knowing it and would hate to learn of it in such a fashion.)

Also, [livejournal.com profile] clover_magic is a prat. Totally and completely. SHE KNOWS WHY! *grumbles and mutters something about Soul Eater and possibly a desperate need to know what happens next and perhaps an intention to watch the next episode of the anime* ...although it is funny when she says Kid and I keep thinking of a thief in white and not the son of an admittedly hilarious Grim Reaper. And yes, we have already discussed what would happen if they met. It would be HILARIOUS because Kid's monocle would mean that his face is not symmetrical.

I think I might curl up with my Neo and try to write at least some before I go to sleep tonight. I'm working on fic requests for that post I did on [livejournal.com profile] professorlayton, and I have already written my fic for [livejournal.com profile] spook_me for the Layton fandom. It will be up closer to Halloween to (hopefully) mess with your heads because I am a benevolent ruler person like that :D *dodges thrown things*
