Alive!

Not sick. Stomach has settled. Am conscious. Yay for small blessings! Well, except the consciousness part... *misses my pillow ;~;*

Although you know how when you're sick, you can have some of the craziest dreams? Like, say, being chased up a giant metal Christmas tree while being chased by fire-spewing goblins on broomsticks, and all you want to do is hang the chandelier-sized ornaments on the branches before the aliens come? (Don't ask, I was reeeeeeeeally sick at the time.) Well, I think I had a couple of those dreams, if the way I slept was any indication.

And I distinctly remember waking up, looking at the clock, thinking it was time to get ready for work, and getting out of bed. Went to the bathroom, grabbed a can of pop out of the fridge (I have no idea why), walked back, realized it was two AM, and went back to sleep. I would've thought I was dreaming if the can wasn't on my nightstand right now XD

All righty, time to get ready for work. Sale day today. Wish me luck!

THIS POST CALLS FOR A SNOOPY DANCE!

I had three uber-smurfy things happen today :D

A) Weigh-in. I'm down another four pounds, putting me at a grand total of about nine pounds lighter than I was two weeks ago. It was also kind of fun to tell one of the managers that I spent four and a half hours on the treadmill this past week and watch his eyes bug out before he told me that I was a tribute to the store ^___^

B) Ouran, Part II is in my hands! My favorite anime website sometimes has really really awesome sales, and at the beginning of the month they were having this good sale on Funimation stuff, and so Ouran was comparatively really cheap. So I ordered it, waited on the back-order, and today it arrived at my house!

C) Payday was today~ That in and of itself is a thing of joyousness. But I looked at my paycheck and thought it seemed high. A closer look confirmed it, and then gave me the reason why. Turns out that at some point, I got a raise that I knew nothing about, and I'm making seventy-five cents more per hour than I thought I was. This equals out to roughly twenty-five dollars more per week. There are no words for how blessed this is.


All of the above (plus the fact that I know I'll have plenty to do at work tomorrow and the neat special I just watched with my parents about Air Force One) have put me in a very good mood :D We're watching another program about Marine One after Monk is over, and then I'm going to jog for a bit.

I'm taking a break from the anime for a day or two (too many subs make baby Jesus Candy's eyes cry), and rewatching some of my favorites episodes of Numb3rs. I do love that show, though I still haven't finished watching season four. Plus, I walk through two episodes of that in one day and I've nearly done an hour and a half on the treadmill :D

For the moment, at least, life is good~
