candylandApologies for just now getting back online. As some of you already know, I spent last night snowed in at a hotel barely half an hour away from my apartment. Yes, folks--the blizzard was that bad. I nearly went off the road several times, and actually was an inch away from getting stuck at one point. Thanks to everyone who kept me company and was there while I was sobbing over my steering wheel--and I do mean that quite literally. So scared...
But anyway, last night I got some typing done. Still got a LOT of work to do before tomorrow's big post, though! That's probably what I'll spend the rest of my evening doing--getting everything typed up and ready to rock so tomorrow I can upload and make with the postings and be all YAY. And I've got a couple of other ideas that will hopefully be churned out between now and New Year's ^___^
So I'm home now, safe and sound with my parents. Mom's watching the end of a movie, and then I think she and I are going to watch some Mythbusters. Dad's watching a football game, and Little Sister's at work. I get the impression that she doesn't have a clue what happened last night. As I'm pulling onto I-29, the road that leads straight to my house, she texts me and starts telling me all these things to bring home with me "If I haven't left yet." WTF?
Oh well. Time to go watch stuffs with my parents! And possibly eat something--my food intake of the day has consisted of two-thirds a tube of Pringles while eaten on the road.
