candylandSo, we're listening to Linkin Park's, "In the End" at 1.4 times speed on Kurt's laptop, and it sounds like a rap song--freakin' awesome. Well, just went it gets to the part where the lyrics say "I had to fall to lose it all, but in the end it doesn't even matter," he moved his knees, and nearly lost his laptop. It was perfectly awesome timing, and we had a good laugh.
Yesterday, we had lots of snow. And. We. PLAYED!!! Me,jewelsybear1017, Kali, and Kurt went outside for probably forty-five minutes. We made snow-angels and played and romped and frolicked (and I almost typed the words "rolicked and fromped," just so you know). It was powdery--perfect for playing!
Best part? Knee-high and waist-high drifts. Those things are soooooooo much fun to jump in!! Well, I climbed into a knee-high drift. I ended up falling over, and the snow was so powdery that I couldn't get back up. While jewelsy is standing on the stairs by the retaining wall, laughing her head off (sweetie, I've never seen you laugh that hard before!), I had to roll through the snow and halfway down those stairs in order to get free. There's still a rather sizable trench in the snow by the stairs, made by mine hapless body. I ended up wet and freezing and deliciously happy. It was so much fun!! Took pictures, too!!
John just said he's a gentleman. Oh, you're funny, John. It's like when I say "I am sweet and innocent!" and everyone starts laughing--which I really don't get...
Finished another fic for12daysofficmas, so I am officially half done with the stories for the challenge. I want to get them all written and uploaded so that I won't have to fuss with the uploading and stuff when I'm at home on my slow, crappy internet. Just click a button and go. And if all goes according to any semblance of plan, I'll have at least five posts for a Christmas Eve update. I like to do a good-sized post around holidays. Soooooo basically, from here until December 24th, with the exception of my fics for 30_kisses and my Short Stack Stories and the Twelve Days' fics (once we get to December 13), anything that gets finished between now and Christmas Eve is not getting posted until Christmas Eve. More news on that as stuff gets done.
