The end of the week...already?

candylandWow, guys--can you believe it's already Friday? Tomorrow's the weekend! Man, it feels like I've barely lifted a finger this week...oh wait... *dodges thrown things* Kidding, kidding! ^___^
There was actually some talk going around the middle school yesterday--both students and a couple of other teachers told me that if we get ten snow days, we don't have to make them up. The thing is that we're not sure if that means we don't have to make any of them up, or we don't have to make up any beyond that, or what-have-you.
But we've had seven days off for weather this year--two for the ice storm when most/all of town didn't have power, three for the blizzard the week before last, and then two this week because of bad roads due to snow. Three more and we're at ten >_>;;
jeva_chan started a writing journal! Everyone should go check it out at motsdejeva, which I believe means "Words of Jeva" in French? *does not speak the language* GO LOOKIES!! :D
My mother decided that she's going to single-handedly revive the art of letter writing by writing my sister and I a letter a week. A hand-written letter, sent via snail mail. She got pretty cards to write the letters on, even. Little Sister thinks Mom is ridiculous. I got pretty stationary so I could write back :D And then I got taken by the bug, so I wrote a letter toammchan, too! It's really kind of fun! *studies f-list and thinks about writing to other peoples*
Oh, and I got stuff in the mail yesterday! Specifically, I got the yarn to make the body of this scarf. It requires a certain type of yarn to be felted, and I had to order it. I also ordered some double-pointed needles to make it. I've got my projects aaaaaall lined up ^___^ Should keep me busy for a bit.

31_days entries. Dunno why. Just haven't really been in the mood for it. I'll have something to post for Lurker Day, I promise. But...meh, maybe I just needed the rest? I need to figure out my chronological order for those entries...
