Yup, another Election Day post~

candylandWork today was...work. Sums it up fairly nicely, yes?
kaitodoushi and I went to cast our ballots today. That was a hard test. But...I guessed Obama, and I'm fairly sure that I guessed right. Just sucks that I'll have to find out my score late tonight on the national news. But oh well!
...and then we went and played on the playground for a while, since our polling place is the elementary school we both attended (and incidentally, where we actually met way back in kindergarten). WE ARE RESPONSIBLE CITIZENS, AND SLIDES ARE STILL FUN WHEN YOU'RE TWENTY-THREE, DAMMIT.
Strange, but I remember that playground being a lot bigger. I also remember when there was a field back there behind the school, and not a Gordman's ;o; *my childhood, CLINGSU* But still, a fun way to spend ten minutes.
So now I'm going upstairs to have dinner, and then I'll probably be bouncing between being here at my computer and out to the family room to follow the election coverage. Here goes nothing, guys! *sashays off*
ETA: I forgot to mention the text message my sister sent me earlier: "Happy Welcome Obama to the Presidency Day!" And to think she used to be conservative. ILU, Little Sis who turned twenty-one yesterday heaven help us all ♥
