This post is void of anything interesting
Dec. 22nd, 2008 10:16 amHere's a quick review of the last couple of days to start us off.
THURSDAY: Blizzard as mentioned in this entry. Out at the airport, they wound up clocking in ten and a half inches of snow.
FRIDAY: Nearly got stuck in the snow trying to get to work. Had to back up all the way down to the end of the street and get a running start to make it up the hill, then take a really roundabout way to actually get to work because I couldn't make a right turn off my street. Work was dead, as was to be expected. Came home to find that the rascally little snowplow had pushed a two-foot snowdrift into the front of our driveway. I then shoveled half of that out so I could get my car in.
SATURDAY: Worked. Picked Mom up to go run a couple of errands. We wanted to get MarioKart for the Wii for Dad, but apparently those are made from pebbles found only in the Fountain of Youth. But we did get WiiPlay, so it's cool.
SUNDAY: Work. ...that's it. Oh, and finished sewing the snaps on my sister's present.
Okay, so we have a short things-to-do list for today!
-Call around to stores to look for That Thing for Mom (just got a text asking about that)
- Wrap remaining gifts for people (I am the family's Designated Wrapper)
-Laundry
- Ficcage
