Year in Review!

Happy New Year, everyone! And welcome, oh-nine! May you be a better year than oh-eight~

Last night we went out for dinner. We went to this local place called Hungry's. It's got great food, but it's uber-expensive, so we only go on New Year's ^_~ Poor Mom had the flu and couldn't go, though D: But we had a nice dinner out, and then came home...and the rest of my family fell asleep. I was the only one conscious to watch the ball drop. Then I fell asleep and was awakened by the sound of my phone ringing. Sorry, chassysaweirdo! ILU!

...and then I celebrated the New Year by having to wear a tie to work today ~_~ New dress code, how I hate thee.

So let's have some resolutions!

THE FRIVOLOUS: Keep writing a crap-ton. Beat all games for my DS and PSP. Get through all the stuff on my To Watch/Read list. Kidnap kaitodoushi and go visit lwyn!

THE SERIOUS: Figure out what the hell I'm doing with my life. Continue researching (and hopefully sign up for) That One Thing. Clean room. Continue to lose weight (down four pounds from last weighing! *funky chicken*). Continue letting co-worker breathe.

MY FAVORITES: I had so much fun writing "Day by Day." Canon is totally overrated >_> "Learning from History" ate my life for a week, and yet I am fond of it (AND ariga_ten IS DRAWING A DOUJIN OF IT, EEEEEEE ♥). There are others, but right now I'm so guuuuh from counting all of this up that I can't think XD

BIGGEST SURPRISE: "Believing in Heaven." Wrote a Little Mermaid fic for 100fandomhell, and posted it on ff-dot-net on a whim. I couldn't believe the response it got, and is still getting. It makes me happy! \o/




...on a semi-unrelated note, I looked at the Layton section on ff-dot-net a few days ago, just to see how it was growing. There were sixty fics on it. Just out of morbid curiosity, I counted how many of them were mine. TWENTY-SEVEN OF THEM @_@ *prods everyone to write more*
