I don't use this icon enough...

candylandWe will not discuss work today. We will not. It was insanely busy, and there are much more pleasant things we can talk about here!
When I first bought these blank pants for work, they were a little bit loose, but not really enough to write home about. It was one of those awkward "in between sizes" things, so it was either having them loose, or not being able to breathe properly. As I am fond of oxygen, I opted for a size up. And so we stuck a safety pin in them to make them fit a bit better. Well, they're now loose to the point where I need another safety pin to take in another inch of fabric \o/
It seems like I'm starting to drop inches at the waist, but the scale isn't going down. I really don't mind being quote-unquote "over" weight if it's more muscle. But there's still time, and I'm trying some new things. I'm actually picking up this DVD that everyone and their imaginary friend Jimbo seems to recommend.
ANOTHER HAPPY THOUGHT OF HAPPY: I know what my tax return is going to be *boogies*
Tomorrow is looking like there'll be a bit more going on than I thought.lwyn brought to my attention that there's a Pokemon event going on at Toys R Us stores, in which you can get Shaymin, which is one of the cutest little guys ever. Unfortunately, the store here in my town closed a few years back.
A quick demonstration of Internet-Fu told me that there's one in another city not too far away. Said city also has a Best Buy which, according to the website, has two things (the aforementioned work-out DVD and one other thing) that I want, but that is not available at my local Best Buy. So since I was already planning to be out and about to do some stuff for my parents, I'm making a day out of running errands ^o^
So the plan is: Cartridge World, bank, get gas, WHEE MINI-ROAD-TRIP, come home, exercise and assorted other small chores. I got Coraline burned onto CD for some nice background noise to drive by. I'm really excited about listening to it, and seeing the movie at some point.
