All righty, tomorrow I need to ask one of my coworkers if she'll switch me shifts on August 20th. More to come on that if she says yes and super happy funtiemz become a go, whee! She's a really nice person, though, so I'm pretty sure she'll say yes.

I watched a couple episodes of Psych today with my sister, who has season one. I'd seen bits and pieces of it here and there before, usually during breakfast on Sunday mornings before I had to leave for work. I liked it well enough, but it's sort of a "Am I going to watch the rest of it?" It's funny, but the writing's not quite as snappy as, say, Bones.

We also watched the results show of America's Got Talent tonight. First five to the semi-finals. My mom and I have gotten really, really good at picking the ones who will go through, although every once in a while they manage to surprise us. We had it narrowed down to six for tonight. Turned out that the two we couldn't decide between were the ones the judges had to decide between ^^;;

Thought I'd give a little status update regarding fics, since I worked on them today:

- What You Wish For, ch. 7: 774 words
- A Perfect Act, ch. 3: 1794 words
- Song of the Wind, ch. 15: 473 words (IT'S A START!)
