So between yesterday and today, I worked almost twenty full hours across three different departments. Yesterday I was actually scheduled for six hours, but wound up working nine and a half--three and a half of those hours were spent covering a shift in the pharmacy for another tech who had a family member pass away ;_;
I think the pharmacist felt bad about asking me to come in, but if there's no one else, I'm sure as hell not going to leave her hanging, for she is awesome. But yeah, then today I spent an hour learning to open one department (SO MANY THINGS TO DO, MY KINGDOM FOR A LIST!), and then toddled over for another eight hours in the pharmacy. A very long eight hours, if I may whine.
And it just so happens that between last night and the night before, I racked up a whopping seven-ish hours of sleep! :D *flops over and dies on the nearest person to the sweet sound of a happy paycheck* I have the day off tomorrow, thank heavens. Am turning my alarms off and just seeing how much sleep I need.
...it occurred to me earlier today that in less than two weeks, I will be in my mid-twenties. This is very, very frightening. My birthday list, as requested by my mother, consisted of season five of Numb3rs and a couple of books. I am nothing if not very, very boring.
