Some good news for a change!
Jun. 22nd, 2010 08:59 pm...I had an entire entry typed up of all the good things that were happening lately, but then I hit a key and suddenly I'm left with a page blank save for an exclamation point. So here's a much shorter run-down because I have the worst luck in the world.
~ New little cousin, now three weeks old. Welcome to the world, Mason!
~ Quilt square #4 is almost done, and the corners on #3 are almost all lined up, a fact I am EXCEEDINGLY proud of.
~ New knitting project. Promises to look REALLY cool.
~ Got a nice compliment at work for something I did really well \o/
~ Went to doctor yesterday. Since all the physical tests were normal (I am the very picture of health, yay!), we're trying a different approach. I'm now in possession of a four-week sample supply of Lexapro, which is an anti-depressant that should also help with anxiety and insomnia, according to my doc. I go back in a month to see how we're doing.
I know it'll take a couple of weeks to really get into my system and have a visible effect, but...last night was the best night's sleep I've had in WEEKS. So yeah, that bodes well ^_^
~ Detective Conan: The Birth of Kaitou Kid. Finally got around to watching it. Kappei, I adore you, and also the Secret Room looked really, REALLY awesome all shiny and updated. Yay for pinball machines! ♥♥♥♥♥
And finally, fics. The plunnies have been multiplying like crazy, and they're all in the little 'verse that seems to have started up with A Perfect Act. I'm starting to think that said 'verse needs a collective name because it looks like there are going to be quite a few stories in it, if I get everything written. Note to self: write all this down.
When I was cleaning the other day, I found an outline I'd penned for a Heiji-centric story that I never quite got around to writing. And now it's sort of demanding to be a side-story to the APA-verse. I'm trying to figure out if I can make it fit. If I get that in there, we're looking at...seven stories? Eight? Something like that @_@
...FICS. I MUST WRITE THEM.
