My nine-thirty class got cancelled today--the prof wasn't here. Yay for freedom!! Unfortunately for me, this happened on the day that I had to meet with one of my profs at seven-thirty in the effin' morning!!! Yeah...multiple levels of suck-age there.
Tomorrow I get to teach a twenty-five-to-thirty-ish minute lesson...at the elementary school. A class of twenty-five third graders. I'm just a weeeeeeee bit nervous about this. Still trying to get the last bit of my lesson plan put together for it. Wish me luck, everybody!!
Has anybody heard the soundtrack for the Broadway musical of Little Women? For it is most awesome. One song in particular made me cry--it's called "Some Things Will Never Be," and it's a duet between Jo and Beth, right before Beth dies. I bawled. It makes me think of my sister.
Actually, I went home this weekend to see Arwen in the high school musical. It was Guys and Dolls, and she was a Hot Box Girl, and a Havana dancer. Much fun was had by all--the kid who played Nicely-Nicely Johnson was phenomental on "Sit Down, You're Rocking the Boat."
Well, gots to jet. Time for voice lesson. Whooooo...off into the snow I go!
