It used to be, once upon a time, that I only got sick about once every four or five years. I mean, I'd get the usual colds and whatnot, but I was rarely sick enough to miss a day of school. My friends can remember that wonderful day last year when the supervirus smacked me between the eyes and literally laid me out for a full day--by literally, I mean I could not move until well into evening.

So I figured I was off the hook for another few years. But as we all know, Fate is a bitch. So here I am, curled up in bed, hoping to whatever deity is up there that my stomach stops rolling around like it is. I'm tired as hell, having gotten about half an hour's worth of "sleep" before my stomach kicked in. So I was wide awake at four AM. Tossed and turned for an hour before at five o'clock in the morning, I officially got sick. Haven't even been able to keep water down since. Yay for coming off Thanksgiving break, huh?

Been "sleeping" all day. Read that as "dozing while tossing turning for several hours." I'm all tired and achey...and I missed class, which is something I HATE doing, because then I'm behind, and it's so hard to get caught up. You know I'm really out of it, though, because I had an entire day off, and didn't touch a single fic.

Watched a little while ago as the rain turned to snow. The wind blowing in is freezing, and I'm still burning up. Haven't eaten, either. Stomach hurts...want more sleep...
