Here is some brilliant advice for all of you out there. This is good, sound advice, that I think will benefit most of you at some point or another, for I have found it to be a very true statement. Here it is:

Going an entire day on one hour of sleep is a bad idea. Especially when you have to drive any distance--like, say, half an hour both ways.

*bows* Thank you. *passes out*

I can vouch on your wisdom...I've done it before. Worse I tried a taekwondo tournement on only 3 hours of sleep...although my adrenline made up for it...I passed out after the sparring matches. lol
get some rest, hard worker, you've earned it.
much love,
rob

Can't sleep yet. On duty. Don't get to sleep until after quiet hour rounds.

Best one I ever pulled was doing State Large Group competition the day after prom when I was in high school. Two-ish hours of sleep--we got home at about seven AM, got changed and all that jazz, and went to bed. Dad woke us up a little before ten. After comp, I went home and slept for the rest of the afternoon. I remember my sister telling me that we needed to set the table for dinner, and me yelling through the door for her to leave me alone. The next time anyone bothered me was well after nine PM, when Mom asked if I felt better, there were leftovers in the fridge, and she and Dad were going to watch Ice Age, did I want to join them.

*sigh* That was a fun weekend...

Nope, that was a jazz band competition, 'member?

My high school hosted State Large Group that year, so at least there was no travel...

Awww, that's sweet of your mom. I pulled something like that in highschool, too. We'd had prom, the next morning was graduation rehersal so that was only four hours of sleep and that night was Grad Night to DisneyLand, got home at 9am went to bed for a couple hours before I had to get up to leave for graduation at 1. I was so tempted to wear my pajamas under my cap and gown.

Yay for doing things with no sleep!! Isn't it fun being all nice and loopy when you have slept enough? I actually lost a fight with a bathroom stall door...pretty proud of that, actually...

Yup!

I lost a fight with my pillow-wouldn't stay on my bed. It proved to be a tougher adversary than I would have expected...

I read that, and I laughed. Loudly. Like, the people next door are probably wondering what the yiff I'm on. But yeah, gotta watch out for pillows. They're tough little buggers #^^#

I laughed that you laughed...and now my mother is looking at me oddly. She always does that when I laugh about something online.

...never mind that it was more than one pillow.#^^#

Sorry I kinda dropped offline last night. I put my head on the pillow, and then I pretty much just dropped.

Pillows are vicious. They like to hunt in packs. Be wary of them!!
