Excellent weekend!!
Feb. 20th, 2006 12:27 amOkay, so they say college is supposed to be the "best years of your life." And ya know what? When I looked back, I'm gonna remember days like yesterday and today...
- tried to go to a nearby city
- spent twenty minutes trying jumpstart the frozen block of tempermental engine that is my car
- finally got car started
- thanked campus security profusely whilst silently cursing winter weather *shakes fist at sky*
- went to nearby city
- met friend from high school for late lunch
- came back to campus
- hung out for a few hours
- got the munchies and went out to Taco John's for a late snack with a good friend
- ran into two other good friends there
- wound up hanging out in the restaurant for over an hour, chatting
- went back to my room, managing to not freeze on the way
- got online and chatted with various people of varying levels of evil
- got an invite from another friend to make a Wal-Mart run at one AM
- went to Wal-Mart at one AM
- make friend nearly die laughing in the Easter candy aisle by dive-bombing the Cadbury Creme Eggs
- was back in room by about two-thirty AM
- stayed up playing internet games until four
- woke up at eleven-thirty this morning
- went to food with
thekellylynn
- lounged about all day
- finally beat computer game I've had since about the eighth grade (I didn't go down with the Titanic!!)
- went to food again with
thekellylynn
- continued lounging about with new computer game!!
- enjoyed a nice, long shower that spawned three plunnies ^^;;
- did homework in twenty minutes
- resumed lounging
Taco John's at ten o' clock at night on a Saturday...thanks for coming with me, Matt!! It was awesome that we ran into Meg and Bryan, I haven't gotten to chat with them for a long time. It was most fun. Plus, at Wal-Mart, I got to have fun with Jeff. First of all, the song "Throw That Girl Around" from the musical Swing was stuck in my head, so I started singing it. Loudly. In the chip aisle.
I just wanna have some fun
I just want a girl to swing, swang, swung!
Thro-o-ow that girl around!
Thro-o-ow that girl around!
Boy meets girl. Boy loses girl.
Boy WHAT?!?
Boy throws that girl around!
Jeff did a double-take, until I explained that it's about swing dancing ^^;; And then I spotted the Easter candy and attacked in my search for my absolute FAVORITE candy. Luckily for the safety of everyone else in the store, I found my Cadbury Creme Eggs. I turned around and held them up and said, "Cadbury Creme Eggs are God's gift to Easter!!" *insert pause here as I realize what I just said* "...I mean, aside from that whole Jesus thing." Jeff laughed at me. A lot. That statement is now my MSN name *grin*
Sorry if I haven't responded to LJ comments. I was so wrapped up in beating that computer game that I really haven't looked at the internet (aside from chatting) since Friday night. Will probably post mildly pervy conversation between
magic_truth and myself tomorrow. Speaking of, mucho congrats to
magic_truth on getting your couple for
30_kisses!! To all our fellow Conan fans, we're now going to have 30 Kisses for Satou and Takagi!! *does Happy Dances of Evil*
One last random note to this utterly inane entry before I go to sleep: I finally named my computer. My lovely little laptop is now no longer "You f**king piece of sh*t!" It's name is now Ari. Reason?

Goodnight, everyone ^_^
