Everyone is so nice in the DC fanfic fandom. I swear I've never been flamed by anyone! And people are always tossing ideas back and forth so some really great stuff gets written.
Heiji and Kazuha angst could work, I think. Its a bit tricky because they're such a normal couple...ahem. But there are quite a few situations that could probably prove to be heart-wrenching.
