Random maunderings...

candylandFor starters, I took the world's greatest shower tonight. I mean, I think this was the most awesome shower in the history of the world. It was that much awesome. And now I smell like fresh raspberries--like my body wash! *smells self* Coupled with clean jammies, I am a comfortable Candy-chan!
So while I was taking the Greatest Shower Ever, I got to thinking about random stuff. Translation? Ficcage. Various ficcage. And my goals for said ficcage. And no, I don't have a life. Can't be helped, I s'pose. Basically, I like to set deadlines for myself. Particularly deadlines that I actually think I can meet.

30_nights and 30_hugs by Christmas. Come hell or high water, I intend to do my traditional Christmas Eve post and be able to slap the Completed label on both of those series. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ammchan and I were talking about it--I think I have sixteen left on each of them. That works out to about four fics a month, or just under one a week. That's pretty do-able, I think. 'Specially 'cause the Nights plunnies are eating my brain. With tartar sauce. Apparently, my brain is very tasty ^^;;
Once that's done, I can turn my attention to other things--my back-burner projects, as I call them. That would be30_friends and 30_ways primarily. I am doing 30_evil_deeds, but that doesn't have a label on it that says "Please post every two months or we'll take away your birthday couple!" So I'm not quite as up-in-arms about that one. But I do have a few good crack!plunnies for it.
And...well, Candy-chan did a bad thing. Candy-chan actually put in her claim on another community, and got it. But Candy-chan is not going to work on this claim for a while (thank GOD that there's no posting minimum). Candy-chan has only told a couple of people about it.articulation cheered, and msbbt bonked Candy-chan with a mallet and yelled at her. Candy-chan will announce it at a later time.
Candy-chan will also hopefully have a fic for30_ways up very soon. And she is done talking in third person for the time being.
Also, random confession: I have several LJ friends on my AIM...won't give any names. But, ummm...see, I'm a coward. And I have this paranoia about coming off as a freak/stalker/the like. So...yeah. No real reason for this confession. Just thought I'd put it out there that I AM A COWARD TO THE EXTREME!! *bows* Thank you.

I signed on to my first challenge ever: Shin'chi and Ran for the "30kisses" community! (Yes, "30kisses", not "30_kisses"!) Dunno what I could call it on ff.net yet! But a full week and a half has passed without any serious writing, so . . . would you have any advice on how to screw up the courage to begin, O wise predecessor? >.
