Okay, I promised these a while back...and am only now getting around to actually uploading them *hangs head* I know, I know...but anyway, pics and accompanying commentary are under the cuts to spare your f-lists. Luvs!

The guy making balloon animals/people/characters/WHATEVER was really awesome. I said I wanted a musical instrument, and he kinda rolled his eyes and asked if I was a major. I said I was a vocal major, and he said he could make me a violin. It actually looks like a violin, IMHO!!

I was still down in the Cent Room, watching this guy play with balloons (he did a magic trick for us, too!), and my sister signed onto MSN. I told her she should come down and check it out. She said she was studying for a test, so I asked the guy if he could make a penguin. He said yes, I relayed the message, and lo and behold, she came down! Little Sister likes penguins.

She named him Chilly Willy. Note the fishing pole and little fishie on the end--megadorable! And yes, that's my sister ♥ She insisted on posing with her penguin. We, ah, don't look very much alike ~.~;;

Little Sister's roommate (with their room in the BG). She had to run to class and didn't know what she wanted, so he made her that. Cute, isn't it?
God bless Homecoming! And later that week, we had...

That's me and my sister. Just for clarification, I'm the one with a face full of whipped cream. I was the first pie of the evening. She was standing there, just waiting for the go-ahead. When it was given, she attacked. She pied me twice. This is the first one...

...and this is the second one. And yes, I'm wearing a shirt that says "C Clef. C Clef run." Yay for musicalnerds humor!

I'm helping!! *is proud* Poor Miriam, though...Heather looks like she's having fun, though!

This is Fearless Leader, the RD of our building. We all grabbed a handful ofslightly frozen whipped cream, waited for the cameras to get ready, and POUNCED! Poor RD Lady. We made sure she was niiiiice and messy ^___^

And finally, the staff poses for one final picture before we all run inside! Aren't we pretty?
After the pie-ing, we all went inside and took our laundry downstairs. Everyone kicked in a quarter, and I kicked in the detergent (dumped it in the pocket of my jeans and wrapped it up), and we washed our clothes. And took showers. It took three shampoos before my hair felt sort of normal. And the whipped cream got up my nose AND IT SMELLED SO BAD YOU WOULD NOT BELIEVE!!!
AND I GET TO GO HOME TOMORROW ZOMG SO EXCITED!!! *ahem* I haven't been home for a full weekend since mid-August. So yeah, I'm pretty stoked =D So I'm gonna go do my homework really fast and then pack my stuff so I can get the hell out of here right after class tomorrow *happy happy backflip*
Birthday countdown: 3 days 4 hours 'till twenty-one years.

Date: 2006-10-27 01:23 am (UTC)^^ I'm not a big fan of pie fights, because it wastes food as well as being messy, but I'm glad you had fun! ^^ You remind me of someone I used to know in my old neighborhood. :)

Date: 2006-10-27 01:54 am (UTC)The balloons are adorable ♥ And that really is a good violin likeness (though I thought it was a guitar when I first saw the whole of it :D;; And that's not even getting into what I thought when I only had the top half of the picture to look at.).

Date: 2006-10-27 01:59 am (UTC)This is actually the second time I've been in a pie-fight. The first time was at a birthday party =P I can take 'em or leave 'em, but this was a fund-raiser, so I went with it. And got messy ^_^

Date: 2006-10-27 02:54 am (UTC)I thought it looked a bit more like a guitar--I think violins only have four pegs, actually, whereas this had six. As to what you thought it was...that wouldn't work very well. Might be uncomfortable if it were to, ah, pop *is shot*

Date: 2006-10-27 03:42 pm (UTC)Oh, Mike said I should request pics of you when your face is clear of pie. He also mentioned something about a cleavage shirt and a squeaky hammer, which I found rather funny.^^;;

Date: 2006-10-27 06:47 pm (UTC)Yup, only the four on standard violins. Electic violins might have more, though. Also, insert standard "popping the cherry" joke here.

Date: 2006-10-28 01:42 am (UTC)Thought so--I played the violin when I was just a wee lass.
...I was unaware that there was a standard joke for that o.o
