THE DEMOCRATS WON THE SENATE!!!

*faints from happiness* Thank you, thank you, thank you LORD...

We watched a video in Art History this morning about the big statues on Easter Island--the Moai. It definitely wasn't the most fascinating thing I've ever seen, but it wasn't totally hopeless, either. ~~And we won't mention the fact that I overslept and walked into class almost ten minutes late, nope nope nope.~~ But anyhoo, I'm watching this with some interest, and then I turn to look at the clock...and see that I am one of only two people in class with my head up. The rest of the class had their heads on their desks, and I could see immediately that three of them had their eyes closed. That was when my prof noticed too, and got a little upset. One girl opened her eyes and lifted her head...and then BAM, her forehead slammed right back into the table *laugh*

For Religions, we're starting into Shinto--I'm so happy! Call me a nerd, but it makes me all excited when I see a word I recognize. We have to do this thing called a clipping, where we bring in something that relates to a religion we're talking about. I'm sure you can all guess why I'm excited about that, but she said I could bring in something anime =D I think I'm going to take in one of the Azumanga Daioh episodes, where they're visiting a shrine for New Year's.

Observation was cool today =D Then I had practice for voice recital D= I'm still so panicked about that...just that one dumb Italian piece that refuses to be memorized. Waaaaaah...but I talked to Mommy, and she said she and Dad are coming, and so is my great-aunt Aggie, and my aunt and uncle and cousin. We should have a pretty decent turn-out... *hides under bed*

I got the alert at ten AM that I was running a choir sectional for the women. And it was a freakin' AWESOME sectional! We go so much done--they were great! And then I went and found the Buddhist temple in town!! It's a beautiful place! I can't wait to go check it out for real ♥

Okay...I'm gonna go take a shower and get my laundry in the washer. Then we'll have rounds again. Whoooo...
