Accomplished today: mailed ten Christmas cards. Hopefully will have the rest ready to go by tomorrow. Purchased Christmas presents. Am going to have to buy last present online, and just have it ship directly to the recipient, because B&N didn't have it. Will hopefully ship others tomorrow.

Not accomplished today: picking up Ryann from the airport D:< *stabs the weather*

And I got a Christmas card today--first one of the season! *glomps ulfstormbringer* Thank you, hon!

I came upstairs after Dad got home, and he had War of the Worlds on--the remake from last year, not the original one. I'm not a big Tom Cruise fan (I think he's nuts), but I did enjoy the movie...or at least the first two-thirds of it, until they wound up in the basement with the psycho-guy. Then it just started to draaaaaaag. (BTW, if you ever get a chance to hear the original radio broadcast, go for it! It's uber-awesome!)

I sat down long enough to watch the big tripod crawl out of the ground and make the NOISE! THE BIG AWESOME HONKY NOISE!! :D I loves that noise, oh yes I do...l'anyhoodle, then the rays start firing and people start 'sploding into dust and stuff, and it's pretty cool--and it gets to the part where Ray (the main character) comes home...

Kid on screen: What's that stuff all over you?
Me: It's new, improved Powdered People! Just add water!
Daddy: *stares* ...you're sick.

Hey, it was no biggie on the card. There are only so many people I still talk to from school, so I figure starting a yearly Christmas card exchange can't hurt.
Esspically since it will give me practice for that "real world" thing I keep hearing on.
