I've written ONE Mitsuhiko/Ai fic on request/as a birthday gift. It's here, (http://candy--chan.livejournal.com/131098.html) as part of my insanityfanfic100 challenge ^^;; I don't think I've really written her otherwise--I fail pretty hardcore at getting her character right...which doesn't stop me from writing Heiji, but we won't go into that.
That's the weird thing--it really didn't have much plot to it. At least, it hadn't when I last read it. It was a lot of dialogue, little scenes that somehow seemed strung along some sort of cohesive thread.
People do change. But to change that much that quickly? No--change is a gradual thing. They might grow apart as they grow up (and that's a big MIGHT)...no.
