I have comments to catch up on replying to...will get to that at some point...

IS ANYBODY OUT THERE?? It's one of those days when nobody's online and nobody's updating their LJs ;o; So right now I'm watching Spaceballs, and when that's over I'm going to watch Robin Hood: Men in Tights (the two Mel Brooks movies I got yesterday), and maybe I'll pop in The Producers later if I'm so inclined/have time. Oh, and I'm knitting. This should surprise no one ^^;;

Still need to make a birthday/Christmas wish-list and post it here...and also need to make a Christmas card post at some point in the near future. Probably within the next couple of weeks :D

New on [livejournal.com profile] candyfics: Red and Black for [livejournal.com profile] 30_ways

*goes back to knitting*

*and movie*

*stupid, stupid movie*

*that I love for inexplicable reasons*

Saturday evenings are always dead on my friendslist. I figure it's because all these other people have lives and I don't XD;;

That's why I usually spend Saturday night watching something or making icons. Tonight, it's icons XD

I love that movie--haven't watched it in ages, though. Spaceballs is almost over. I guess tonight is just a night of Mel Brooks movies ^^ Good honest stupid humor ~♥♥♥

Miss you too! *huggles*

It's usually at least a little more lively than this. But yes, I agree on the "not having a life" thing ~_~ My best friend is four hours away, so I have no one to hang out with. Woes ;o;

I usually would write something, but knitting projects are taking priority right now ^^;; YAY ICONS! :D

I didn't actually see it until I got to college ^^;; I bought it yesterday in a two-pack with Spaceballs for thirteen bucks :D

Ehehe...would it make you feel better if I told you that I'm slowing down on the posting? *g*

I'm not dead yet. Though, some of the people on The Darwin Awards were. An amusing little film.

I have this sudden urge to break out into Spamalot song o.o

... ♫I am not dead yet, I can dance and I can sing--♫ *Candy is shot dead*

Oooh, I'm not familiar with that movie... :3

I guess I'm a product of Disney movies but I approve of spontaneous song and dance routines. ^_^

I'm not surprised. I ran across its existance by chance. It only showed at the Sundance Film Fesitval but is available on DVD. We rented it from Netflix. Its not a great movie but does have a number of laugh out moments at the stupidity exhibited.

People who say that musicals aren't realistic because of the spontaneous singing and dancing should have come to a meal with my college buddies and I. Guaranteed that we would burst into song at least once per meal ♫♪

My plan was to spend my evening knitting and watching movies, but then this Inuyasha plunnie grabbed me, so now I'm writing another fic for [livejournal.com profile] 100fandomhell ^^;;

I don't think we broke into spontaneous song but we quoted movies.

Go you! How many have you written so far? I'm sorely tempted to participate but NaNoWriMo starts in less than a month. Better to wait until December. I've got a personal bet with myself you'll finish in less than a year. ^_^

Oh, we did that too! Or rather, we had a few lines that we could all quote at the drop of a hat. Some of them were movie lines, and some were just fun things we'd said :)

This is number nine. It won't be finished tonight, but it might get done by tomorrow. The joke was that I wanted to get to #10 before [livejournal.com profile] aishuu posted her next one. I don't know if it's going to happen ^^;; But I doubt I'll finish in a year... *pokes fingers together* And really, it's a back-burner project. I want to finish some of these OTHER challenges first ~_~;;

I have no idea what I'm going to write after I finish these theme comm challenges. I really don't ;o;

Those are now the "good old days" for me. Or cons. Heh. I like anime conventions. I'm starting on a new costume for next A-kon (Noa Izumi from Patlabor). Just picked up the wig today and new gloves for my Kid costume. ^_^

Go for it! You can do it! Maybe I can give you a plunnie. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, only, spoof what they did to Looney Toons and make it Baby Mutant Ninja Turtles. XDDD

Well, you could do drabbles. I found them refreshing to write. It was like having a box of sample chocolates and it challenged me to get my point across in 100 words.

Yeah, they're the "good ol' days." I've never been to a con, though...I'm hoping to go to one in the coming year, though! [livejournal.com profile] socchan is telling me she's going to drag me to one by my hair ^_~

Ehehe... ^^;; I'm trying to think of how to do that one now...but I do have a couple of Princess Tutu plunnies AND a couple of Ouran plunnies--but with the Ouran ones, I don't think I could write the twins in characters. So that sort of kills them v_v

It's more that I'm going to have to get back into the swing of writing without attaching a theme to the fic. A lot of the fics I've been writing lately have been inspired by the themes. And plus, I feel like my writing has gone downhill recently, which doesn't help my confidence in "life after theme comms."

You'll be happy you went. ^_^ I recommend bringing some nonperishable food items. Then you can much whenever you want and not pay outrageous food prices.

Maybe you could write the Ouran fic without them? You haven't written a crackfic in a while. Heh, do it.

Then do like I've done, look around the room or look out the window and base an idea off that. That's how I've written a few DC fics. I got a catch word for ya now if you want to use it. Socks. (I have a pair of Halloween ones on my desk right now and they have kitties on them with googly eyes) ^_^

So long as there are people around that I know. I reeeeally don't want to go gallivanting off by myself into the unknown XD But yes, will bring munchies!

Well...both the plunnies I have would figure them in. For one of said plunnies, I'm pretty sure I could write it and minimize the stuff that would actually involve me knowing their characterization. So I might go with that one ^^;;

(And I actually have a DC crack-fic on the horizon. It's going to go into [livejournal.com profile] fanfic100, and it's going to be the crack-fic to end all crack-fics ^____^)

:O Those socks sound so cute! But yeah, I know I'll manage somehow. But I don't have to worry about that until after I finish all these challenges! Which could be a while =)

Oh, I like several of them! The three mentioned above are probably my favorites, and I liked what I've seen of Silent Movie and Blazing Saddles. Need to watch the rest of those...
