This morning, I thought I was doing great. Heck, I was even thinking that I'd stop at the Casey's station on my way to school and grab a cappuccino or something as a treat. It was really cold when I woke up, and I was chilly--and it's not a secret that I don't get cold easily. Unfortunately, the weather had other ideas D:
Weather: Hmm...she seems too cheerful. I know! Let's mess with her car!
Me: *comes outside* Doo dee doo...
Windshield: Hi! I'm frozen!
Me: ...
Windshield: You can't see through me!
Me: ...
Windows: Aren't we all so lovely and opaque?
Me: ...
Defroster: *gasp* *sputter* *hack* I'M TRYING!
Me: ...crap.
Ten minutes later, the ice finally gave way...and I was a few minutes LATE instead of being ahead of time. GRRRR on you weather!! *shakes fist at the cold* Although I will say (on a totally shallow, superficial note) that colder weather means I can start wearing some of my really cute sweaters :D I'm wearing one of them right now, actually--it's a light blue V-neck sweater with a hood, and I've got this light pink shirt I'm wearing under it. GOD BLESS OLD NAVY! \o/
I also got the email telling me that my first Amazon shipment in on its way to me. Hooray! That should be in my hands Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Once I have that one, I'll place order number two :D First prezzies will go out on Thanksgiving break!
...and yes, I know a few of you wish for me to post a Christmas wish-list. I'll get to it...eventually? :D When I sit down to make a list, I can never think of anything I want *pokes fingers together* I'm trying...I really am ;o;
Oh, and my Christmas Card/Gift Address Post will probably be going up next week. As last year, it'll be set with screened comments, and if you wants a pretty Christmas card (or if you know I have a gift for you that will need to be sent), you can leave your address. I'll be the only one that will see it :3
All righty, I think I'm going to pay this bill and then the middle school is on early-out schedule because of Red Ribbon Week. So I'm heading over there to do my study hall from 11:45 to 12:12, and then I'm coming back here to do lessons. And then the day shall be done! \o/
ETA: I just realized that my birthday is in a week. Seriously--a week from today, I will turn twenty-two. And then five days after that, Little Sister will turn twenty. HOW IS MY BABY SISTER GOING TO BE TWENTY? HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE? O_O I swear...yesterday, she was fifteen and pestering me to give her rides places. How is she twenty?
