As I surrender unto sleep...I wish...
Oct. 24th, 2007 12:57 amY HALO THAR, ONE AM! HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN A WHILE! REALLY WISH I WASN'T SEEING YOU RIGHT NOW BECAUSE I HAVE TO BE UP IN A LITTLE UNDER SIX HOURS FOR WORK.
I can't sleep. I don't know what's wrong--my eyes are tired and heavy, my body is barely cooperating, I can't walk a straight line...but the sleep, it is not coming. So I'm waiting for this chamomile tea to cool off enough for me to drink it (since that's supposed to help with sleep-inducing), and posting about something funny I heard in English this morning.
There's a foreign exchange student in the English class I help with first period. He's usually sort of quiet, but when he speaks he usually has something good/interesting to say. We just finished reading Animal Farm, and they have to do a class project in which they build a large model of the titular farm.
Well, the teacher pulled out some pictures from past years when she's done this project. But as she's getting ready to show them to us, she says she's only going to show them for a minute because she wants them to come up with ideas, which prompted this comment:
Foreign Exchange Student: Okay, everyone memorize part of the picture! I've got the upper right-hand corner!
English Teacher: *nearly spits coffee across the room*
WIN.
Oh, and while I'm here--Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness for the Gamecube? It's surprisingly addictive. Maybe I'll go play it for ten minutes or so to try and further K.O. myself. Hey, it's worked before x_x Doesn't help any that I've been feeling really sort of blah lately in terms of health. Like...I'm sort of dancing on the knife-edge between "healthy" and "getting sick." And I'm one of those people who gets lots of colds and sinus infections and whatnot, but when I get sick, I get SICK. Like, I'm floored for at least a day.
Hmm...tea...

Date: 2007-10-24 06:24 am (UTC)Ok Pokémon is highly addctive but... my second runthrough of pokémon Col was so...damn... boring... I nearly suicided my mind on it... I just didn't want to -bother- catching the shadowy pokémon, SCREW THEM. I'll get them after the game so I can just loot the ledgendarys off the console and put them on Diamond. (I have awesome priorities. Ho-oh is a gift to myself for actually purifying them all again since my sister ninja'd the last one)
