I did not know that five AM actually existed...

So after careful consideration, I decided that five AM is NOT a time at which I wish to awaken on a regular basis. We were up at that hour to be at Michael's at six when it opened...to go yarn shopping. Yes, yarn shopping.

We're making all those reading shawls for the people at Mom's work, so we got yarn for them. I've already started one--it's a big project, but the pattern's really easy, so it goes fast! Might go pop in a movie and work on one for a while.

I also enjoyed a wonderful nap. Hmm...bet I won't sleep tonight ^^;;

Unless something has changed that I am not aware of, tomorrow kaitodoushi and I are going to see the baby!! :D He's a week old today! I think we're going around ten, right? *prods to make sure*

In the meantime, it sounds like we're going to HuHot tonight, which is my absolute FAVORITE restaurant! So I'm pretty happy about that. And then I think I'll just roll myself back downstairs and be lazy for the rest of the night, propping my arms on my rotund belly as I stare vacantly at the TV screen.

Good times. Good times, indeed :D

Oh, and I learned something yesterday. Apparently, the DC fandom is sort of protective of Gin's Porsche xD Digging your keys into the side of his pretty little souped-up four wheel drive apparently equals fangirl death *laugh*

Oh, yes, 5 am is mean. It's worse when you have to be at work at 4 am, though. That means you have to get up at 3 am. I had to do that once or twice last year about this time. Never again do I want to work retail.

As for shopping, I didn't go! YAY OMG I DIDN'T HAVE TO SHOP *_* I wish I could find people to hang out and crochet/quit/sew with that'd be alot of fun I think. :D

As for sleeping, I started doiong laundry at a friend's house at 6:15pm and didn't leave his house until 3:08AM.. I had work at 8am. but somehow I am more coherent and less spazzy than I have been in a long while.. maybe I sleep too much? *shrug* ^^

I did most of my shopping online this year, since I'm not near any real stores. I only have a couple more presents to get--once the order comes in, I'll have 'em all! *boogies*
