My sister leaves for India tomorrow. She'll be spending three and a half weeks there. This is very cool. I hope she has a good time.
What's not very cool is the fact that I offered to treat her to lunch so we could spend a little time together before she left and I go back to my apartment...and she huffs that we need to go through a drive-through then. I say that defeats the purpose, and she gets all huffy about how she doesn't have time.
So I said "Screw it" and tried calling a couple of friends. Wound up going to hang with
bishonen_girl for a while instead. Had fun. Went and got season three of Numb3rs. Would have gotten season two, but NOBODY SEEMS TO HAVE IT!! D:
Did I mention that when I came home, Little Sister was curled up on the couch watching TV? Yeah. It seems like she has time to do all this other stuff, but not enough time to let me buy her lunch? Makes perfect sense to me *rolls eyes*
Then came the dinner fiasco. We thought it'd be fun to go out for dinner as a family before she leaves. She wanted to go to this place called Buffalo Wild Wings...which neither Mom nor Dad nor I were terribly impressed with when we tried it. The bill was over forty bucks, and I know I left hungry.
So this results in an argument. Dad suggest Pizza Ranch (they have GOOD chicken), Sis throws a fit over that. She keeps huffing that we can go somewhere else, but she won't make a freakin' suggestion, and keeps finding reasons for us NOT to go somewhere that someone else suggests. As Mom told her point-blank, she's ALWAYS the only one who can't agree on anything.
We eventually agreed on Red Robin. Good burgers. We stopped at Barnes and Noble because there was a book Sister just HAAAAAAAD to have, and then we came home because she had SOOOOOOO much packing to do.
Yeah. She was up here on the computer for a good hour. And when she came downstairs and I started heading upstairs, she tried to tell me that I could NOT sign her off MSN because she was going to be talking to a friend on there later.
I pretty much said, "Like hell!" and got online.
So yes, this has been my day. I'm pondering downloading a couple more episodes to my portable hard-drive and going to watch something downstairs on my laptop and maybe get some more stuff typed up.

Regarding the
1sentence sets--some of them might be expanded into much longer fics. Already had a couple of people request specific ones. Feel free to do so, and I will do my best.
