My car is safely back in the parking lot of my apartment building, and I am a hundred and fifteen dollars poorer. But it's on our insurance, so I will be reimbursed. Just gotta send 'em the receipt.

And I woke up this morning feeling like death warmed over. That, coupled with the fact that I haven't had a decent night's sleep all week AND the freak-out of last night...let's call today a sick/mental health day.

I'm having a little something to eat right now, and then I think I'm going to go grab my notebook and start watching stuff. I have a TON of series that I'm meaning to watch. I think I'm going to go ahead and watch Haunted Junction and then see what I feel like. The reason for the notebook--January is almost half-over, and I haven't updated for fic_off yet. So I'm going to sit and write and watch today.

And the plunnies for fanfic100 and 100fandomhell are biting fast and furious. I wish they would stop for a couple more weeks. Wait until January is over. Then we will play as much as you want. I also need to finish 30_evil_deeds before I finish fanfic100. It would feel weird to do it the other way around >_>;;

...and as I asked ickaimp, would someone please tell my plunnies that no, the world does NOT need a Detective Conan/Bob the Builder crossover? Please?

I mean who needs the unbelievably hilarious conversation that would ensue between Bob and Conan? Not me.

Sick/mental health days are a necessity. You just can't let them become a habit. Seriously, if I was an employer, I'd give every full-time employee a paid half-day (or maybe a full day, not sure yet) every month to do all the b/s that you have to do between 8-5, you know, the hours when you're supposed to be working.

Glad you're okay. Nothing wrong with driving like a "little old lady"...I do now after a very bad ice experience a number of years ago!!! So hope you rested & recovered on your day...all need those once in awhile! Love
