I had an AWESOME weekend hanging out with

rasgos_76!! We watched The Last Unicorn (which I had never seen, and which now inspires me with lots and lots of lulz at the TOTALLY INNOCENT SUBTEXT OF EVERYTHING), and we went and got ramen at this Japanese mall.

AND I ATE WITH CHOPSTICKS!! I ATE RAMEN AND RICE WITH CHOPSTICKS!! I'm really not coordinated enough to make those things work for me, so at first I was getting some noodles between the sticks and spinning the chopsticks to wrap the noodles around them *laugh* I guess that's not totally kosher ^^;; But by the end of the meal, I got it! :D And it was good stuff. The instant stuff (aka Broke and Hungry College Kid Rations) is fine, but that stuff was oooooh, so good ^_____^

I also got gummies. YUMMY! :D :D :D

So yes, much fun was had \o/

While I was in the car, I listened to The Hollow Needle: The Continued Adventure of Arsene Lupin, which I got from LibriVox. I have maybe five more minutes to listen to before I'm completely done with the book. Unless something huge happens in those last few minutes, I have to say that I liked The Extraordinary Adventures of Arsene Lupin, Gentlemen Burglar a great deal better. But we'll see. A few more minutes.

And...is it bad that I plunnied for it? *facepalm* Actually, I did a lot of plunnie-ing last night while I was driving. Two of these ideas were for--are you ready for this--Disney movies. I was listening to the soundtracks of a couple Disney movies (Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, and Aladdin), and I had fic ideas for two of the three, and the third one actually gave me a potential idea for a DC/MK fic *headdesks*

Right now I'm listening to The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes. Not sure what I think of it yet.

It's supposed to start snowing here soon--between eleven and noon. And it's not supposed to stop snowing until tomorrow, late afternoon or early evening. Fortunately, I have no shortage of food, so I'm not worried about it ^^ Just...hope driving isn't too bad >_>

I'm trying a new recipe tonight--chicken manicotti. It looks really good in the picture. Here's hoping it comes out tasty! \o/ If the weather does turn as sour as they say it will...tomorrow might be a chicken noodle soup night. And chicken quesadillas. Best meal ever!
