Today is the last day of the four-day weekend, woes~ What has been accomplished?
The apartment is a LOT cleaner than it was before. Dusted and vacuumed and everything! Now if I could only figure out how/why the dishes in the sink keep multiplying. I swear, I do dishes, and then every single time I walk back out there, more dishes have appeared!
Laundry is currently in the washer and dryer. That's turned out to be a bit of an adventure because it seems like every time I want to do laundry, someone else already has the machines. There's only one washer and dryer in our four-plex. And I don't mean this has happened once or twice. It's happened EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So when I realized they were available, I pounced ^_^
I finished knitting one scarf and am nearing completion on the next. Have my eye on a couple of other projects, but I want to finish these first. I have one more scarf to make, the reading shawls, and then a couple of things I'm making for friends ^_^ And then once I get the yarn in (which should be any day now), I can make my flowered felted scarf.
We had more snow yesterday (joy of joys...) so I went out and got my car cleared off as well. Took about five minutes once I got the defroster going. Yay for my little plastic shovel!
A couple of people have asked me about my current MSN name, which reads "Let's solve a murder. But first we'll draw a dead dog with matchsticks!" That is in reference to a game I picked up the other day. I'd heard some really good things about it. It's called Professor Layton and the Curious Village. It's a puzzle game, all tied together with this story of solving a murder. Pretty sure it owns my soul. It's challenging, and the characters are surprisingly charming. I also love the look of it and the animation.
Will start on Final Fantasy after I finish Professor Layton. Promise. Didn't think I would get that hooked xD
Okay, time to go check on the laundry!
