Another weekend done...
Feb. 24th, 2008 10:47 pm...although it looks sort of likely that I might be in for another snow day in the next couple of days. Tomorrow the rain is supposed to start around eight AM, and I say rain loosely because the temperature is supposed to be in the mid-twenties. And then in the afternoon the snow is supposed to start and not stop until potentially Tuesday afternoon. So...yeah. See what happens xD
Got a new recipe for tomorrow. A different type of stew. The broth is already mixed (beef broth, flour, and a few seasonings) and in the crock-pot, and the meat (beef and bacon) is in the fridge, along with the carrots. So tomorrow morning I just need to drop everything in there and turn it to low. Blessed be whoever invented the crock-pot. My apartment will smell nice \o/
All you friends out there in possession of a Nintendo DS--pleeeeeeeeease someone go get Professor Layton and the Curious Village and play it and love it so I have someone to fangirl with ;o; I've never had plunnies like this for a game before!! *flails wildly* And it's been a reeeeeally long time since I've gone this crazy over a GAME!
Speaking of which, I need to get back in the swing of things, writing-wise. Been slacking off this week, with the exception of
31_days. Five more days, and I have done a fic a day on that--as has
jeva_chan. GO US! Figuring I'll try to put some sort of update together for Lurker Day, which is next week...
I should really go to bed.

Date: 2008-02-25 01:08 pm (UTC)Some winters are harsher than others. Last year our biggest snowfall nailed us with eighteen inches in just a couple of hours. This year it's the same--just more spread out ^^;; We've had winters with almost no snow. But we'll see what happens for today.

Date: 2008-02-25 04:40 pm (UTC)I got my dark blue DS for Christmas a couple of years ago. It was before the Lite ones came out, but it plays the games all the same, so no complaints here! The GameStop in Ottumwa is actually pretty good. I don't let myself go in there very often, though. I wind up spending money v_v Getting Professor Layton was a splurge for me, really, especially because it was a NEW game. I usually go for used where possible.
