Wow, long day...

I'm sure you're all sick of hearing about my health (or lack thereof), so I'll keep it short--still feel like crap. Still hate my sinuses. Still coughing like it's going out of style. Still planning on taking large quantities of psychedelic drugs (i.e. Nyquil) to knock me out. Hopefully for the ENTIRE NIGHT tonight.
And for the record, Nyquil can be a psychedelic drug. Take it when your body isn't done throwing up yet and thus will not sleep. You see funny things. Why were there shadow-people in my dorm room that night...? *whimpers*
Today was a weird day. I'd actually forgotten that it's Standardized Test Week in our district. High school had the ITEDs (Iowa Tests of Educational Development) today and tomorrow, and the middle school is in ITBS (Iowa Tests of Basic Skills) all week. So the schedule is sort of wonky. I always hated those tests when I was in school, not because I have any great dislike for tests, per se, but because I'm a very fast reader, so I tended to breeze through those tests...and then have to sit there with nothing to do for fifteen minutes. Y HALO THAR ADHD! \o/
Spent much of my morning administering tests to kids, then had first period choir, fifth period study hall (that's the lunch period), second period choir, and THEN hopped in my car to rush to the middle school to run a quick choir rehearsal, then BACK to the high school for a meeting *pantpantflops*
Tomorrow will be a bit easier, though. We've got tests in the morning, and then it runs periods four through eight. Only one where I have students is fifth--a girl in my study hall. Then I have study hall eighth period at the middle school...for twenty-five minutes.
We started the Les Miserables medley with the high schoolers today. It's not hard at all. Just long ^^;; But I burned all the songs in it onto a CD, and we're listening to 'em as we go through 'em. They all seem to be liking it so far, which is nice :D And the girl who asked if we could do something Les Mis kept saying, "I love you, Miss S!" Which made me feel happy ♥
No new ficcage tonight. Got a couple of things half-scrawled out in my notebook (did that while the kids were testing--not like I really had much else to do), but nothing completed or typed. And I'm overall just not in the mood for it right now. I do have my twenty-fourth fandom done for
100fandomhell, though--wrote it a couple of days ago. Might go post it now...or tomorrow...I dunno.
Wonder what I should have for dinner tomorrow...
...yeah. I'm boring. I know.
